Interior design group Domingue, headquartered in Houston, was born out of Ruth Gay’s passion for monumental antiques and old building materials:
Inspired by European aesthetics, she introduced a select range of timeless materials and techniques to the American market, allowing designers to create unique interior designs.
Thanks to a partnership with Master Painter Eddy Dankers, Domingue now also offers its own range of natural plaster and paint materials. Today the group consists of 3 companies: Chateau Domingue (Antiques and reclaimed building materials), Atelier Domingue (steel windows and doors) and Domingue Architectural Finishes (natural plaster and paint products).
Due to the rapid growth of the company, the visual identity of the Domingue group was in urgent need of a make over – an assignment that Flink, of course, tackled with enthusiasm.
We redefined the positioning of the various companies in the Domingue group and translated this into an elegant visual identity.
The elegant, high-class interiors with the Domingue signature are literally the ‘crowning glory’ of every interior project. The crown is also the inspiration and core element for the new logo of each of the 3 companies. The combination of a subtle colour palette, textures and refined typography ensure the right look and feel.
Flink also designed the necessary communication tools and fine-tuned the packaging concept for the Domingue paint products.
