Adriaen Brouwer is an authentic Oudenaarde brown beer, a regional Belgian beer. It was given the name of an artist who was born in Oudenaarde in 1605.
Adriaen Brouwer was kind of a rebel in the art world and loved to go against the grain. Where most artists liked to mingle in high society in those days, Adraen Brouwer preferred to drink a beer with friends and locals in the pub.
A historical portrait of Adriaen Brouwer became the basis for the new label design.
The typography provides a modern touch while maintaining the historical character of the beer.
