The vibrant Sainte Cathérine is without a doubt one of the hotspots in Brussels. Just a stone’s throw from the Grand Place and with the trendy Dansaert street as its neighbour, the former ‘Vismet’ is today a successful mix of picturesque history and new vibes.
Commissioned by the organisation ‘Brussels Port de Mer’ —who promotes the fish market and the Sint Katelijneplein— we gave the neighbourhood a new visual identity and website.
Once the trendy ‘Sainte Cath’ was the port and fish market of Brussels and even today the neighbourhood is known for its many fish restaurants. This was immediately the starting point of the logo and identity with the nickname ‘St Cath’ and a collage of fish as recognisable elements.
On the website you can find all the information about history and events, but it is also a handy tool to discover trendy restaurants, bars and other hotspots. Everything is easy to manage via the CMS and therefore the perfect tool to promote the neighbourhood.
